Parallel und als Beitrag zum Gallery Weekend Berlin (2. bis 4. Mai) zeigt die Galerie Thomas Schulte eine Ausstellung mit fünf neuen, großformatigen Arbeiten des New Yorker Künstlers Jonathan Lasker und stellt Bernhard Martin als Neuzugang der Galerie vor. Mit der ausgreifenden Installation "Sour Cloud" bespielt Martin, der erstmals in Berlin zu sehen sein wird, den repräsentativen Rundraum der Galerie in der Charlottenstraße Ecke Leipziger Straße. Zur Ausstellungseröffnung am Freitag, den 2. Mai 2008 von 18 bis 22 Uhr sind beide Künstler anwesend.

Coinciding with this year's Gallery Weekend Berlin (2-4 May) Galerie Thomas Schulte will present a solo exhibition featuring five new large scale paintings of the New York artist Jonathan Lasker. At the same time the gallery will introduce Bernhard Martin as a new entrant to its program with his sculptural installation "Sour Cloud" in the gallery's prominent corner space at Charlottenstrasse and Leipziger Strasse. For Bernhard Martin this is also his premier exhibition in Berlin, where he has been living and working over the last years. Both artists will attend the Opening Reception on Friday, 2nd of May between 6 and 10 pm.
