Ahmet Öğüt (b. 1981, Diyarbakir, Turkey) makes performances, films, photographs, and installations that connect the private with the public and only unfold their critical potential upon closer inspection. Öğüt lives and works in Amsterdam, Istanbul and Berlin. He studied fine arts at Hacettepe University Ankara and Yildiz Teknik University Istanbul.
