Ferran Adrià (b. 1966 in Santa Eulalia/Spain) was the head chef of elBulli, the famous restaurant in Cala Montjoi near Rosas, north of Barcelona. Ferran Adrià ignited a revolution in the kitchen, not only in terms of food, but also in its design, cooking utensils and menus. 2007 elBulli was one of the venues of documenta 12.
