Genpei Akasegawa (born in Naka-ku, Yokohama / Japan, died in Tokyo 2014) was an artist and writer and also a member of the Hi-Red Center.

Hi-Red Center was an art collective that was founded in Tokyo by Genpei Akasegawa, Natsuyuki Nakanishi and Jiro Takamatsu, and was active between 1963 and 1964.
