Jean-Marc Prevost

Jean-Marc Prévost is currently Director of Carré d’art, the contemporary art museum in Nîmes, France. He studied Art History and Philosophy at the University of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne and at the École nationale du patrimoine. In 1991 he was Curator of the Direction des musées in Marseilles and 1992 Director of Musée départemental d’art contemporain in Rochechouart. In 2002 he became Head of artistic creation at the Ministry of Culture’s Délégation of Fine Arts.
