Dr. Klaus Ottmann (b. 1954, Nuremberg/Germany) is a curator, author and publisher.
He has organized exhibitions at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Dallas Museum or Art, Haus der Kunst Munich, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, Musée d'art moderne et contemporain Strasbourg, American Federation of Arts New York, Phillips Collection in Washington DC,Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill / NY, SITE Santa Fe, among others.
Ottmann studied at the Free University of Berlin (Art History/Philosophy);
and at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee / Switzerland (philosophy).
