Lynn Hershman Leeson (born 1941, Cleveland, OH, USA) is one of the most influential media artists. She studied at Case Western Reserve University, San Francisco State University and lives in San Francisco and New York. Her most famous work is "Roberta Breitmore" (1973-1978), a kind of clone of the artist, who is staged in real time and in the real outside world, and mostly embodied by Hershman Leeson herself.
