Nadia Leger

Nadia Léger (Nadia Khodasevich Léger, Wanda Chodasiewicz-Grabowska, Nadia Petrova, b. 1904, Osetishche, Russland, d. 1982, Paris, Frankreich) studied at the Suprematist Academy in Vitebsk founded by Kazimir Malevich and afterwards at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In Paris she studied at the Academie Moderne, led by Fernand Léger and Amédée Ozenfant. Later she married Léger and led this Academy.
