Naoya Hatakeyama (b. 1958, Iwate / Japan), based in Tokyo, is a photographer. He studied at Kiyoji Otsuji, Hatakeyama and at Tsukuba University. In 2001, he co-represented Japan in the Venice Biennale. In 2012, he together with the architects Toyo Ito, Sou Fujimoto and others represented Japan at the Venice Biennale of Architecture and received the Golden Lion.
