Okwui Enwezor (b. 1963, Kabala / Nigeria) is curator, critic and scientist and form 2011 until 2018 director of the Haus der Kunst in Munich. He studied Political Science in New York and was the director of numerous major international exhibitions such as the documenta 11 in Kassel (2002) and the Venice Biennial (2015). In 2017 he receives the International Folkwang Prize 2017.
