Stano Filko (b. 1937, Veľká Hradná / Slovak Republic, d. 2015, Bratislava) lived in Bratislava since 1990. His oeuvre refers to the Fluxus, Nouveau Realisme, Dada and Pop Art movements. He developed environments, installations, pneumatic sculptures and utopian architectures that reflect his interest in transcendental philosophy, cosmology and metaphysics. His work was senn at the 11th Biennale de Lyon, Prague Biennale 3, the 51st Biennale di Venezia, Documenta 7 in Kassel, and EXPO in Osaka.
