Thomas Lanigan-Schmidt (born 1948) is an artist, der absichtlich Kitsch in seiner Kunst verwendet, produziert Installationen und dekorative Collagen mit messerscharfem Witz. He uses materials such as saran wrap, tinsel, glitter, plastic wrap, pipe cleaner, linoleum, staples, Magic marker, and found objects. In 1984 he participated in the Venice Biennale.
