The Musée l'Organe 'La Demeure du Chaos' at Saint-Romain-au-Mont d'Or, 10 miles north of Lyon, is a project of its owner Thierry Ehrmann. On a 12,000 square meter landscape, once with a 17th century post house and a Protestant church, there is an outdoor art museum with 4509 artworks by 70 different artists, where perpetual creation takes place. Walking through this whole artwork outside and in buildings, you find yourself in a world of ruined rusty objects, tattered metal sculptures reminiscent of 9/11, helicopters shot together, portraits of murdered personalities, skulls, anti-nuclear Graffiti etc. The scene seems to reflect all the suffering in the world The Scenery seems to reflect all the suffering of the world. The museum has 120,000 visitors annually.
