Since 2000, we have been dedicated to supporting art in Canada, connecting audiences to local, national and international galleries, and promoting diverse creative practices. This year, we are proud to expand the fair’s virtual and physical footprint in celebration of Canada’s dynamic and unique visual culture. Art Toronto 2020 is evolving from an event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to a fair that brings together a digital model and in-person events at galleries across the country.

Canada’s Art Fair will take place October 28 to November 8, 2020, with a strong online presence including virtual exhibitions, curated collections, panel discussions, and exclusive VIP events. However, we know that nothing beats seeing art in person. As a result, audiences will be invited to take in exhibitions and special events at participating galleries and institutions in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. As Canada’s Art Fair, our aim is to further the conversation around art on a national level, and to encourage collectors, curators and the culturally curious to engage in their own communities in new ways.

The Art Toronto head office is located on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. As a Canadian arts organization, we are dedicated to supporting the vibrancy, diversity and wellbeing of artists, makers, curators, gallerists and collectors from across the country including First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples, alongside immigrant communities who have gathered here from around the world. We are committed to sharing their work and stories with fellow Canadians and international audiences. Recognizing that systemic racism is part of the colonialist ethos that built this country and is present today, we strive to shed racial bias as an organization and are focused on supporting creative practices that better reflect the diversity of Canada.
