David Lynch: The Air is on Fire

La Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain présente The Air is on Fire, une exposition consacrée aux multiples facettes de l’art de David Lynch. C’est la première fois que l’artiste expose un aussi grand nombre de peintures, photographies, dessins, films expérimentaux et créations sonores. Pour le public, c’est ainsi l’occasion de découvrir et de revisiter l’art de David Lynch à la lumière d’œuvres inédites installées dans un environnement conçu par l’artiste lui-même et accompagnées d’une programmation de spectacles, concerts et autres événements dont il est l’initiateur.

The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain presents The Air is on Fire, an exhibition devoted to the multifaceted visual art creations of David Lynch. This event marks the first time that the filmmaker has made a large number of his paintings, photographs, drawings, alternative films, and sound production available to the public. It expresses the scope of his artistic creation with never-before-seen works, installed in an environment designed by him and complemented by a program of events, including live performances and concerts, that he created.
