Flint Jamison’s exhibition was postponed four times due to the successive lockdowns and the closure of the borders between France and the United States. We are thrilled to finally be able to announce it !He presents his third exhibition in the new space of Air de Paris in Romainville as well as a new solo show at the Max Mayer gallery in Düsseldorf.Flint Jamison is an American conceptual artist and associate professor in the University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design. He works with various media including sculpture, publication, video, and performance.Like his publications, Flint Jamison works are the effect of a strong mastery, as much conceptual as formal. They often integrate their diffusion and / or reception in their conception. At once crafted (in their making) and technological (in their operation), aesthetic and functional, autonomous and indexical, their description is an oxymoron. Ici, un nouveau développement de son travail sur la gentrification et les «Opportunity Zones» présenté à la Kunsthalle Sankt Gallen en 2019.‬‬Flint Jamison was born in 1979 in Montana. He got an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2006.
