Works On Paper From The Collection

Highlighting a growing niche in contemporary art, this exhibition presents more than 30 works on paper by a range of artists. Featured are Marcia Hafif’s process-based pencil drawings, Adrian Piper's diaristic work Concrete Infinity Documentation Piece (1970), and works by William Anastasi, Los Carpinteros, Tom Friedman, Carlos Garaicoa, Gabriel Orozco, and Jim Shaw. Many of the works in this exhibition have been made possible through the generosity of the museum’s Drawings Committee, which was established in 2001 as a support group for acquiring works on paper. This exhibition was organized by Curator Connie Butler.
