Zu Hause

Die Ausstellung „Zu Hause“ findet an zwei Orten statt. Zum einen im privaten Umfeld, “zu Hause” bei Olivia Reynolds der Initiatorin von LoBe. Damit wird ein privater Raum zum Ausstellungsraum auf den KünstlerInnen reagieren. Darüber hinaus gibt es ergänzend im Ausstellungsraum von LoBe in der Schererstr., einen zweiten Teil der Ausstellung. In diesen Räumen werden Arbeiten präsentiert, die Aspekte von Häuslichkeit, Familie, Privatheit und deren Konstruiertheit einen Rolle spielen werden. Dabei kommt dem „Interieur“, , das massgeblich ein zu Hause markiert auch eine besondere Bedeutung zu.

The exhibition ‘At home’ takes place in two locations. One part in the private environment of Olivia Reynolds’s (the LoBe founder) spacious flat in Wedding, whereby the artists will react to the surroundings of a family home, to form site specific works. The other location is the LoBe gallery, which consists of a curated show bringing forth aspects of domesticity, family and private living. This section of the exhibition allows a deconstruction of the ‘idea of home’ to play a role; with interior furniture and objects taking on particular meanings.
