Erin Shirreff (born 1975 in Kelowna / Canada) lives and works in New York City. She studied at Yale University School of Art, New Haven and at University of Victoria. Shirreff sees herself not as a photographer - she is part of a generation of young artists whose thoughts on photography have revived the medium, however, they do not operate photography in a classical sense.
