Gérard Garouste (b. 1946, Paris) is a painter and sculptor and lives in Paris and Normandy. His works are mythological and allegorical. He is obsessed with the legacy of the old masters, drawing his subjects from the Bible, popular culture, and literary figures such as Cervantes and Rabelais.
