Mimmo Rotella (born in Catanzaro in 1918, died in Milan in 2006) is the inventor of the “epistaltic” poetry and the technique of décollage and was a member of the group 'Nouveaux Réalistes'. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples; and at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
