Sou Fujimoto (b. 1971, Hokkaidō, Japan) is a Japanese architect. He studied at the University of Tokyo and is considered as a revolutioner of architecture. In 2008 he published his book "Primitive Future". In 2013 he had constructed the Serpentine Pavilion in London. He says: "I am convinced that people need corners in which they can retreat when they have problems or simply need rest, but so that they can pursue the outside world from their hiding places."
