Yuko Hasegawa

Yuko Hasegawa is the Artistic Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (MOT) since 2007. In 2017 she curates the 7th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art. She was a curator at the Contemporary Art Gallery, Mito Arts Foundation; Visiting Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art; Curator at the Setagaya Art Museum in Tokyo; Member of the International Jury for the Venice Biennial, 1999; Artistic Director of the 7th International Istanbul Biennial, 2001; Co-curator of the 4th Shanghai Biennale, 2002; Commissioner of the Japanese Pavilion of 50th Venice Biennale, 2003; Chief Curator of the Kanazawa Contemporary Art Museum (opened in 2004); and a Professor of Art History at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
