short biography

Zemer Peled was born in a Kibbutz in Northern Israel. She studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and at the Royal College of Art. Her sculptural work examines the beauty and brutality of the natural world. The sculptures are formed of thousand of ceramic shards constructed into large-scale/small-scale sculptures and installations.
