Born in New York in 1951, Bill Viola is a most famous video artist in the world. His works have the effect as if holding audience captive with visual elements and sound. The theme of his works is fundamental spirituality. They urge the audience to ponder life and death; human; nature and the universe. This is Viola's first fullscale one-man show in Japan.
