Body Design

Conventional notions of good design favor objects and spaces that accommodate and even mimic the human form. Body Design looks at provocative artists who take this conventional thinking one step further to create new ways to conceptualize the body as a site for design. The exhibition features selections from the fields of fashion, industrial design, furniture, and architecture, including work by Eiko Ishioka, Christopher C. Deam, Marcel Wanders, Loom, No Picnic, Jacco Bregonje, Jürgen Mayer H., Aziz + Cucher, and IDEO.
