Conversations

Showcasing Los Angeles artists and new works to the permanent collection, this exhibition investigates artistic dialogue and influence within the history of post-war contemporary art. In addition to examples of works by young Los Angeles artists including Andrea Bowers, Mark Grotjahn, Jason Meadows, and Pentti Monkkonen, the rotating installation will include highlights of paintings, sculpture, and photographs by John Baldessari, Allen Ruppersberg, Ed Ruscha, as well as a monumental sound/installation work by T. Kelly Mason. The exhibition is organized by MOCA Curator Connie Butler.
