Under the title, FUSIÓN: Aspects of Asian Culture in the MUSAC Collection, the exhibit aims to establish a dialogue between two worlds that since the beginning of civilization have been visibly distinguished, at the same time that they have maintained a continuous symbiotic relationship of influences, most especially in the field of art. The spectator will find works of Asian artists who reflect their interpretation of the contemporary world through their works—a vision that may inevitably contrast with the works of Western artists who have experienced Asian culture first hand, although, in most cases, are influenced by the overabundance of clichés which the Western society faces. In this way, through works from the MUSAC Collection, the spectator is invited to face, in certain cases in an interactive manner, the different ways of interpreting Asian Culture.
