Sam Moyer shows new wall sculptures, groups of bleached paintings, and several ink drawings in her second solo exhibition at Max Hans Daniel in Berlin.
Works on display in the exhibition signify the artist's varying practices which challenge the roles of domestic and artistic materials. The seemingly disparate pieces share a visual language that touches on pattern making and the elusiveness of light.
The work of Sam Moyer has recently been shown in Between Spaces and is still on view in Greater New York, both group exhibitions at P.S.1, NY.
Sam Moyer was born in Chicago, IL in 1983 and works in Brooklyn, NY, and Massachusetts.
A limited edition of artist books is published on the occasion of the exhibition.
