Ella Littwitz (b. 1982, Haifa/Israel) lives and works in Jaffa-Tel Aviv.
In her installations she addresses the legitimacy and transcendence of borders as well as their historical, cultural, and political meanings. The objects in her installations, which are stones, plants, signs, buoys, function as testimonies and are composed of former, components of territorial demarcations.
Ella Littwitz studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and at HISK Laureate, Gent, Belgium.
