A Battle for Narrative

The Bonnefantenmuseum wants to further consolidate these qualities and build on them by programming two exhibitions a year in the Hedge House, which will make connections between the existing collection, new young artists and other private collectors. The first exhibition, A Battle for Narrative (named after a work by Jesse Ash) has been compiled by Stijn Huijts and Zsa-Zsa Eyck, and will open on 30 August.

The exhibition has drawn on the G+W collection, the Eyck collection and the Bonnefantenmuseum collection, and on various private collections. It will include works by Jesse Ash, Jan Dibbets, Ger van Elk, David Jablonowski, Chaim van Luit, Mario Merz, Navid Nuur, Thomas Raat, Joe Scanlan and Jorinde Voigt. The exhibition will open officially to the public on Thursday 30 August 2012.
