Anna Kiss. Trancparency

Anna Kiss (1980) got her diploma as painter and teacher for visual art in 2005 at The Faculty of Art, University of Pécs. She used for her exhibited works a thin industrial mesh through which the frame of the paintings and the wall of the exhibition place are also visible. She draws on the printed surface sticked onto this mesh. The themes of her paintings and the technique, the colours and forms choosen by the artist enrich the figurative parts with a special atmosphere. Floral ornamentation and Art Nouveau decorativeness are combined with the architectural and natural sites of Dunaújváros.These produce a very fine, playful and air-light style which on the other hand are very sensitive and thought-rich reflexions on the enviroment and the dynamics of the present scenes.
