Art on Paper (IX). The Engravings of Goya

A traditional feature of the Museum’s exhibitions policy is to promote and publicize the works on paper in its collection, which, owing to paper’s extreme sensitivity to light and variations in humidity and temperature, cannot be exhibited on a permanent basis.

The Engravings of Goya. Bilbao Fine Arts Museum Collection presents 200-plus prints from Goya’s four great complete series, Los Caprichos, The Disasters of War, Tauromachy and Los Disparates, all in the Museum Collection. After its presentation in Bilbao, the exhibition will be taken to Valencia.
