Benton and America in the 1930s: Works on Paper

Drawn from the Museum’s permanent collection, this installation of works on paper complements the suite of Thomas Hart Benton's murals The Arts of Life in America (1932). Included in the exhibition are prints and drawings by Benton and his contemporaries depicting the rich fabric of American life in the 1930s.
