press release

New, exciting talents and gallery programs are particularly encouraged to apply and present their work to a wide audience of art lovers and collectors in the extraordinary atmosphere of the Postbahnhof in Berlin-Friedrichshain, near by the famous East Side Gallery. The light-flooded premises build the ideal architectural setting for the presentation of the artistic works. Interact with an international audience determined to experience art without barriers or borders.   Over 10,000 young collectors, art fanatics, artists and culture tourists attended last year’s fair with its 131 exhibitors from 31 countries. The fair addresses particularly young collectors and art lovers that are seeking potentially lucrative art works, prints and editions at a moderate price. The “ready to use” fair stands in white cube architecture are individually planned and have a reasonable price.

After the great positive resonance last year, the BERLINER LISTE offers again an international platform for photography. With its long tradition in photography and its many exhibition halls, Berlin plays a significant role in the photography world - more than enough reason to show again an exhibition section dedicated to this discipline.   After his successful start with the BERLINER LISTE 2013, Dr. Peter Funken is going to curate also this year’s fair. “Berlin still is a place for the new and particular, a spot for experiments and initiatives. Therefore it offers a chance and the potential for those who associate contemporary art with adventure, introspection and awareness - the BERLINER LISTE is a fair for professionals and newcomers. We will encourage the new and young emerging galleries and positions to join the fair. If your price segment varies from 750.00 to approximately 5,000.00 Euros for a piece, the BERLINER LISTE is the right platform for selling”.

The fair takes place from September 18th to 21st, parallel to the Berlin Art Week. Applications are open until the end of June.
