press release

THE BRNO SIXTEEN is a five day long international competition of selected short non-commercial live-action fiction film organised by the Brno Cultural Centre and The B16 and Alternative Film Society. The festival has traditionally taken place in October, usually in the third week.
This year the B16 festival will be 46 years old. In previous years, it had a long tradition as a renowned international competition of amateur live-action fiction film. Later, the festival shifted significantly to provide a forum for the non-commercial live-action fiction short film and video production of amateurs, students, and independent professionals.
