CAM will present a series of video projections produced from 1999 – 2004 and a new print produced at USF's Graphicstudio, Wave, by Burt Barr. Burt Barr has been producing video films since the 70s that have been characterized as "structuralist"- that is slow moving works that focus on one or two simple actions. In his films he avoids creating a specific narrative and the viewer becomes transfixed by the repetitive action and the beauty of the luminous and silvery imagery heightens our senses. Pressetext
