Dia Art Foundation will organize the first North American retrospective of the work of Carl Andre (American, b. 1935) who is credited with redefining the parameters of abstract sculpture. The exhibition will mark the most comprehensive presentation of Andre’s work in the United States since 1970 and will be accompanied by a new exhibition at the Dan Flavin Art Institute, in Bridgehampton, New York, as well as a major publication.
