Carlos Aquilino is a self-taught artist who was born in Madrid, the city where he lives and works. He has developed his work and personality traveling and living intercultural experiences in artist residencies in different countries, the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in Virginia, New Mexico, in the Romanian Carpathians in the Hungarian Plain or in Brooklyn, NY. The exhibition 'Levitando in the landscape' presents a selection of his most recent work. Paintings, as the artist says, arise from the emotion, spontaneously and intuitively.
