World Class Boxing, an exhibition space that houses and exhibits the Debra and Dennis Scholl collection, invites curator Desiree Cronk to choose from their collection and present an exhibition. The result is Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, a selection of works including photography, sculpture, and video. Artists selected from the collection include Peter Garfield, Candida Hofer, Catherine Opie, Gabriel Orozco, Sean Duffy, Alice Channer and Thomas Demand.

Debra and Dennis Scholl, renowned Miami-based collectors, have been inviting curators to interact with their collection for the past ten years. Cronk has assisted Debra and Dennis Scholl for the past year with various installations from their collection and many other projects. "I find the Scholl collection to be the most dynamic collection in Miami and now have the amazing opportunity to interact with the collection to create my own exhibition". Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood is based on visual ascetics and is not to redefine the artist interpretation, but to simply exhibit beauty, light, spatial and architectural elements.

Desiree Cronk holds a degree in Cultural Art History from the University of Minnesota. Currently, she is the Collection Associate for World Class Boxing (WCB) in Miami, Florida. Earlier in her career Desiree was an Associate with the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

World Class Boxing, a former, boxing gym, is an exhibition space displaying the contemporary art collection of Debra and Dennis Scholl. Prior exhibitions includes shows by Olafur Eliasson, Simon Starling, Julie Mehretu, Paul Chan, Mark Bradford and Tammy Ben Tor.
