Eloïse Bonneviot. The Meditative Relaxation Cycle

For the past year, Bonneviot has invited artists to take part in an exercise - performing a series of 6 digital automatic drawings on iPads or tablets. The Meditative Relaxation Cycle examines how our tools mediate our comprehension, and further how they are implicit in the commodification of 'natural' states.

By working with essentialisms around meditation, drawing, and the artist's 'hand', the digital automatic drawings prescribed by Bonneviot perform a contemporary re-appropriation of Surrealist Automatism.

The exhibition consists of an installation by Eloïse Bonneviot, for the display of digital drawings by contributing artists:
