Eva Martín Soler. City-Zen

The CCA ESPAI is pleased to present the new exhibition of the Galician artist, based in Mallorca, Eva Martín Soler (Vigo, 1972). "CITY-ZEN" covers a range of about 25 graphic works, in which starting from the collage technique, the artist comes up to make abstract compositions that arise from a mixture of the spiritual and the mundane.

The starting point of her work is the canvas support. On it, she applies an organic creative process; adding elements such as paper, paint, brush hairs, but also eliminating others, like tears on the canvas itself or the paper added. Thus, the work is transformed throughout the entire process leading to forms between the oneiric and the human.

Eva Martin made her artistic studies at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and has recently had several successful solo and group exhibitions throughout the Spanish geography: Aranjuez, Palma de Mallorca, Murcia, Madrid, Toledo, Vigo, among others.
