press release

'everything is connected', the exhibition on the first and second floors of the Castello, presents works from the collection, reinstalled with the collaboration of the artists themselves, and recent acquisitions, many of which are being shown for the first time. The works, by both established masters and artists from recent generations, generate a new exhibition path. The artists include Giovanni Anselmo, Tacita Dean, Hamish Fulton, Mona Hatoum, Giulio Paolini, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto and Simon Starling. For the first time at the Museum, the public will be able to view ENTRY DENIED (A Concert in Jerusalem), 2003 by Emily Jacir, The Nature of The Beast, 2009 by Goshka Macuga and The Internationale, 1999 by Susan Philipsz, acquired with support from the CRT Foundation for Modern and Contemporary Art.
