Faces and Figures

Drawings and watercolours by some of the world’s most well known and best-loved artists are now on show in Faces and Figures. The display includes work by famous names such as Henry Moore, David Hockney, L.S Lowry and Barbara Hepworth, all taken from Sheffield City’s amazing visual art collection. The display also includes work by George Fullard, one of Sheffield’s most important 20th century artists.

Many of the drawings and watercolours included in the display haven’t been seen on show for several years and this is the first time that many have been seen together.

Faces and Figures complements sculpture pieces from the City’s Collections which can also be seen in the Graves Art Gallery. In fact, many of the artists included in Faces and Figures also have 3D work on display in the Graves.
