The 32nd FIAC will take place from October 6th to October 10th in halls 4 and 5.1 of the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles.

To date, 207 galleries - 47 of them new to FIAC - and 27 countries will be represented with 113 foreign galleries and 99 from all over France.

Development of Perspectives (9 new galleries, 7 from outside France) and Future Quake (11 new galleries, 8 from outside France); a high-level and extremely selective design section (10 galleries, one a first-time participant from New York);a new section dedicated to film, video and new media.

An intensified programme of organised events: -> within FIAC : conferences and debates, an exhibition of the 4 candidates short-listed for the Marcel Duchamp Prize: Kader Attia, Gilles Barbier, Olivier Blanckart, and Claude Closky .

-> off-site events : Organized in collaboration with Paris’ major cultural institutions (Centre Pompidou, Musée d’Orsay, Jeu de Paume, Palais de Tokyo, Festival d’Automne, Maison Rouge, Fondation Cartier,…)together with numerous private collectors, business people, corporate collections and galleries… An exciting concentration of cultural events, simultaneous to the world renowned Paris fashion week. Art, lifestyle and luxury combined in one of the world’s most exciting capitals.

Citroën, official partner of FIAC 2005, will celebrate the 50th birthday of the DS, a symbol of the 20th Century avant-garde / 6th October / 1955-2005.
