Photographic exhibitions, films, portfolio reviews and artist talks - these are just some of the events included in the programmewhen the international photography festival FotoTriennale.dk 2012 asks its audience: What is The Good Life?
Scattered around the beautiful Danish island Funen are the 11 exhibition venues of this year's festival all displaying film or photography that are either critical, humorous, provoking or ironic comments on the festival theme: The Good Life. With this theme FotoTriennale.dk wants to challenge the audience's preconceived ideas about a good life and hopefully start a debate for everyone to participate in.
Today FotoTriennale.dk is one of the leading, international photography festivals in Scandinavia. The initiator of the triennial, Museet for Fotokunst, has worked together with 10 exhibition venues to curate this year's programme consisting of more than 30 artists from Denmark and abroad.
