press release

This exhibition is the first international exhibition at "Contemporary Art Space Osaka CASO" in Osaka, that requests curation to Ms. Marianne Stockbrand who is a Director of Chinati Foundation, Texas, that was established by an artist, Donald Judd. Also, the exhibition comes true because of Ms. Stockbrand's recognition that "Contemporary Art Space Osaka CASO" is one of the most suitable space in order to exhibit contemporary art in Japan.

Four artists from Turkey, and Germany create their art works at an exhibition space. This is because each artist has a common point that to create art works on the assumption of space recognition. It may be suitable to put "art and space" as the exhibition title; however, names of artists became the title by respecting their advocation towards art.

All the artists have enough presentations of their works internationally and have been gaining highly reputations as outstanding artists. This is an art exhibition that can be done only at "Contemporary Art Space Osaka CASO" in Osaka, Japan. Although this is an presentation of objects consequently, the exhibition insists that the art forms are in not only physical objects, but also artists' own concepts still. Pressetext
