Gabriel Orozco

Gabriel Orozco (Veracruz, Mexico, 1962) is one of the Mexican artists who is recognised internationally. His extremely conceptual work is expressed as much in the languages of sculpture, drawing and photography, as in those of installation, video and art objects, and furthermore establishes a dialogue with the Mexican aesthetic tradition and visual universe. His proposal for the Palacio de Cristal is centred on a series of pieces based on the concept of the “game” surrounded by various objects which display his artistic path.
