Giacomo Costa: Territorio

From November 2nd through November 30th, 1999 the Arthur Roger Gallery will present an exhibition throughout the gallery of Giacomo Costa’s “Territorio” series of cibacrome prints under plexi and silicone.

Giacomo Costa is an artist from Florence, Italy who employs a computer in creating his photomontages, which possess a remarkable painterly quality particularly in his new “Territorio” series.

Giacomo Costa was born in Florence in 1970. After completing school he traveled extensively in Europe and for a time in Northern Italy, where he photographed the landscape which is dominated by mountains. He has now returned to Florence where his studio is located. He was included in the 1999 International Biennial of Photography in Turrin and has exhibited at International Art Fairs in Bologna, Madrid, Basel and Chicago.
