Harun Farocki - Eye/Machine

The ICA is proud to co-commission and present the world premiere of Harun Farocki's film installation EYE/MACHINE III alongside its predecessors EYE/MACHINE I & II. This trilogy of work shows the inventiveness of this legendary filmmaker as the reality of war is taken from the intimate eye of the missiles camera view point. Having taken filmmaking to another level in EYE/Machine I & II, this most recent work promises to add an unequivocal insight into the realities of war which Farocki describes as: "A comparison between idea and reality, a confrontation between pure war and the impurity of the actual."
